The Astor
Cos. broke ground on its Merrick Manor condominium project in Coral Gables on
Thursday.
The
10-story building will have 227 units and 20,000 square feet of retail at 301
Altara Ave.
“Everyone
will enjoy all the luxuries that Merrick Manor Residences has to offer while
being across the street from the Shops at Merrick Park and walking distance
from some of the best restaurants, galleries, theaters and museums in Coral
Gables,” Astor Cos. President Henry Torres said.
Units in
Merrick Manor will range from 550 square feet to just over 3,000 square feet.
They are priced from the mid $300,000s to just over $2 million. Amenities will
include a pool, summer kitchen, fitness center, 24-hour concierge, 24-hour
valet parking, and a lounge.
Behar
& Font is the architect on the project. The interiors were designed by
Steven G.
Merrick
Manor should be ready in the first quarter of 2018.
