Southeast Financial
Center in downtown Miami—Florida’s tallest and largest office tower
totaling 1.225M SF—is quite the impressive structure.
Constructed in 1984, the
center's two buildings (a 55-story office tower and a 15-story annex building)
feature a 43k SF Banking Hall, a 21k SF David Barton health club, 11k SF of
premier retail, a 1,100-space parking garage, and an elevated covered walkway
connecting the two buildings. The LEED Gold, Energy Star-rated building also
features a 30k SF outdoor plaza landscaped with native trees and plants; a
striking "sawtooth" design; and a variety of amenities, including
24-hour security, a post office, a salon/spa, public WiFi and valet parking.
But the building prides itself on its ability to adapt and adjust to new trends,
all while providing tenants with top-tier service. This not only includes a
variety of recycling and water management initiatives, but also an early
adoption of the future with a Platinum Wired Certification. Bisnow
partner WiredScore gave us a preview of Miami's most
significantly leased office building to illustrate the building’s focus on the
future.
