1 Of Every 18 Miami Residents Just Moved Here In The Last Year From Overseas

International immigrants are adding to Miami’s population at a rate that is faster than any city in America.
According to a new analysis of census data by Business Insider, there were 335,637 new residents from overseas in Miami in just one year (July 2014 to July 2015).

The number of new arrivals is equivalent to 5.7% of Miami’s entire population of 6 million people. That means that one out of every 18 people in Miami just got off the boat in the last year, the highest rate of any major city.
